Knotty Bicsie - How we Started

I am a lucky daughter. I've always been embraced by Mum's love, both literally & metaphorically. She always knit & crochet clothes, toys, bags & accessories for my sis & I. And when we outgrow the clothes she made for us, we pass them down to our cousins. Often, I wish I have kept all of them, for my cousins have not kept Mum's beautiful works...

2nd half of 2006 was a trying peroid for me. I seek refuge back at Mum's, where she encouraged me to take up knitting SERIOUSLY. The repetitive process of creating beautiful things out of just strips of materials turns out extremely therapeutic for me! I can't stop ever since.

Just a continuous strip of yarn, needles, you & me...

To me, yarns is a very special kind of material that will not only keep us warm but will also warm our hearts. Is like the bond of our friendships, initially is just a few different types & colors of yarns get together, crochet, knitting, tying, twirling, pulling,......slowly our relationships start to form up into a beautiful piece of colorful artwork. Sometimes it will gets looser, sometimes it will gets tighten, no matter under what circumstances it will definitely grow bigger & bigger each day....... come & see my creations & feel the warm..... :)
